Pie Weights and Reckless Love

A good cup of coffee and savory breakfast complements my morning musing with God. The song ‘Reckless Love‘ is playing over and over in my mind. I allow God to take those words and work in me His morning devotion. I reflect on the moments spent with Maggie in the kitchen and am drawn to our conversation of pie weights. My budget aged 50 Days!

As I reconciled my budget for the day, my eye consistently wandered to the top right corner of my YNAB* screen.  It yells at me … 50 Days!

I should be enthusiastic that my budget is in the green & my available cash has ‘aged’ beyond 30 days.  I should be excited I have accomplished YNAB rule #4 to live on last months’ income.  But I am not.  It brings me to tears.
