This widow’s journey begins

May 10, 2018 //  by Sheila Schwartz

While Steve was preparing his oceanography curriculum, he was intrigued by the changes to the ecosystem since the Mount St Helens eruption.  As he analyzed the data, he tossed aside assumed conclusions and simply focused on the data before him.   Steve’s mind began to marvel in ways of God with a new hunger.  I think it may be the perfect place to say my goodbyes.

I will soon be leaving for a month long sabbatical on the road.  Stopping here and there to walk in the woods, sharing God moments with those He brings in my path, and listening to His quiet words upon my heart.  I have rented an RV, bought Lucy Dog a new ID tag, and packed a couple books and Bibles.  I am praying for clarity of my next career, and for my grieving to release its bond upon me.
